The Local Pig offers hands-on classes in all aspects of butchering and charcuterie. And we do mean hands-on. Topics include breaking down animals, making sausages, and creating charcuterie! Classes will be in session each Sunday. Be sure to check our schedule for availability! Check out our gift certificates for classes.

SCHEDULE

BUTCHER BOX

Each Butcher Box contains 4 items, one each of: dry aged beef, heritage pork, free range chicken and housemade charcuterie. Each box is designed to feed 2 to 3 people for 4 meals. Are you feeding more than 3 people? Get 2 boxes! They’ll be the same items, just double the amount.

Boxes subscriptions are available weekly or every-other week (bi-weekly). We cut and wrap everything on Wednesday and boxes are available to pick up on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Each box costs $25 and you pay when you pick up. The items in the boxes will rotate on a cycle, so each week the box will have a slightly different weight – but they are generally in the range of 3.75 to 4.25 pounds total.
